Feature Musician

David McCann was born in Ballymena and lives in Bangor Co.Down. For inspiration Dave heads to the Kingdom of Mourne, a place steeped in folklore,myths and legends. To write his music in the shadow of Slieve Binnian for his solo performances and with his friend John McLavery for the band Sandrunners.

He released his first album '...and sang to a small guitar'  in 2010 and is available on Bandcamp, he has played in venues and festivals across North Ireland. With the Sandrunners  he has also released albums the most recent, a concept album 'George m'Boy' 2018, about a man's experience in the first world war. they also have played at local festivals,tours and festivals in Holland. He also is a co-founder of the Lagan sessions, an acoustic event in Belfast.
